Why We Celebrate Consistency at CrossFit Alberton

If you’ve been around CrossFit Alberton for a while, you’ve probably seen our Committed Club and Super Committed Club boards.

You may have even wondered what they’re all about.

The answer is simple:

Consistency.

At CrossFit Alberton, we believe consistency is the single most important factor in achieving long-term results.

Not talent.

Not motivation.

Not the latest diet.

Consistency.

What Are the Committed and Super Committed Clubs?

The Committed Club is for members who attend at least 13 sessions in a month.

The Super Committed Club is for members who attend 17 or more sessions in a month.

That’s it.

No special workout.

No competition.

No prize money.

Just a simple way to recognise members who are making their health a priority.

And while it might seem like a small thing, we’ve noticed something interesting over the years.

The members who regularly appear on those boards are often the members who achieve the best results.

Why?

Because fitness isn’t built in one great week.

It’s built through hundreds of ordinary workouts.

The people who lose weight.

The people who gain strength.

The people who improve their energy levels.

The people who move better and feel better.

They all have one thing in common:

They keep showing up.

Even when they’re busy.

Even when they’re tired.

Even when life gets in the way.

Consistency Creates Momentum

One of the hardest parts of any fitness journey is getting started.

The second hardest part is staying consistent.

But once you build momentum, everything gets easier.

Training becomes part of your routine.

You stop negotiating with yourself.

You stop relying on motivation.

You simply become someone who trains.

That’s what we’re trying to encourage with these boards.

Not perfection.

Momentum.

The T-Shirt Isn’t the Point

After 12 months of consistently hitting the Committed or Super Committed Club, members earn a T-shirt.

But honestly?

The T-shirt isn’t the reward.

The reward is who you’ve become along the way.

A healthier person.

A stronger person.

A more disciplined person.

A person who keeps promises to themselves.

The shirt simply represents a year’s worth of consistency.

And that’s something worth celebrating.

To Those on the Board

A huge thank you.

You inspire us as coaches every day.

When we see your names on that board month after month, it reminds us why we do what we do.

You’re proof that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things through consistency.

Not because you’re perfect.

Because you keep showing up.

If You’re Struggling to Get on the Board

That’s okay.

This isn’t about making anyone feel guilty.

It’s about helping people succeed.

Here are a few things that might help:

1. Schedule Your Training

Don’t train when you have time.

You’ll never have time.

Put your training sessions into your calendar like any other important appointment.

2. Plan for the Unplanned

Life is busy.

Things will come up.

Prepare for it.

If you’re training in the morning, get everything ready the night before.

If you’re training after work, bring your gym bag with you and come straight to the gym.

Remove as many obstacles as possible.

3. Book a Goal Review Session

One of the biggest differences we see between members who stay consistent and members who struggle is clarity.

The members who regularly sit down and review their goals tend to stay on track longer.

Life changes.

Schedules change.

Priorities change.

Sometimes you just need a conversation about how to make your training fit your current season of life.

That’s exactly why we offer Goal Review Sessions.

The Bigger Picture

At the end of the day, the Committed Club and Super Committed Club aren’t really about attendance.

They’re about helping people build habits that last.

Because fitness isn’t something you do for six weeks.

It’s something you do for life.

And if we can help you train consistently, even through the busy seasons, we know the results will take care of themselves.

That’s what the board represents.

Not perfection.

Consistency.

And consistency will always win.
