Today was one of those days—I had nothing left inside me that wanted to train. I showed up feeling drained, and every movement felt like a waste of time. But deep down, I knew it wasn’t.
You know that feeling when you’ve had a full weekend of partying? Back when I was younger, it was late nights out, dancing until sunrise, and waking up feeling like I’d been hit by a truck. By Monday, I’d be running on fumes, trying to push through the exhaustion with energy drinks and sheer willpower. That was me this morning—except this time, there were no wild nights out, just a few too many late nights catching up with life, looking after the kids, and feeding the baby.
This morning, I read a Bible verse that made me shift my mindset and try to be more positive and productive. I won’t go into the whole verse, but the words that stuck with me were: “Become what you believe.” Those words hit hard.

So on the hard days, rock up and try to smile—even if you have to fake it. Because the more we show up, the more we become what we believe.
I realized that sometimes, just showing up is enough. Even when I had nothing left to push, even when I couldn’t give my full energy, being there mattered. Not every day will be easy, and motivation won’t always be there. But we have to remember—there are people in this world who would give anything to move their bodies the way many of us take for granted.
