What Is the CrossFit Open (and Why You Should Sign Up!)

Every year, CrossFit athletes from every level — from brand-new members to seasoned competitors — come together for one of the most exciting events in the fitness world: The CrossFit Open. It’s a three-week global competition where the whole CrossFit community gets to test themselves, celebrate progress, and compete alongside people all around the world. 

What Is the CrossFit Open?

The CrossFit Open is a yearly worldwide event lasting three weeks. Each week, CrossFit HQ releases a brand-new workout that athletes complete, submit their scores online, and compare with others around the world. It’s the first stage of the CrossFit Games season, but more importantly, it’s for everyone

✔ Workouts are released weekly.
✔ You can do them at your home gym, affiliate, or local box.
✔ There are Rx’d, Scaled, and Foundations (beginner) options so everyone can participate at a level that suits them.
