Who We Are: CrossFit Alberton Core Values

Yesterday in our Coaches Development Program test, I asked a simple question: “What are our values?” And I realised—we’ve never actually written them down.

We’ve always had coaching standards, our pillars of coaching, and a framework for how we run classes. But what about the cause—the things that make CFA more than just a place to train?

So, here it is. These are our Core Values. They’re not just for the coaches to live by—they’re for every single member too. This is who we are, and what we stand for together.

We care about people. We celebrate wins, support one another, and make CFA a place where everyone feels welcome.

Your effort matters more than your score. Scaling smart, moving well, and pushing yourself with intensity beats chasing numbers.

Longevity matters. We scale movements, respect injuries, and focus on progressions over shortcuts.

Our coaches are professionals who never stop learning. Expect prepared lesson plans, active coaching, and a commitment to helping you succeed.

Our Mission

At CrossFit Alberton, our mission is simple:
We help people become better every day — not just in the gym, but in life.

We coach people first, movement second. Every squat, every workout, every challenge in the gym is a chance to grow resilience, confidence, and strength that carries into work, family, and daily life.

We believe in embracing difficulty. Hard workouts aren’t just about fitness — they teach us discipline, perseverance, and how to keep showing up when things get tough. That same mindset is what helps us overcome obstacles outside the gym too.
